Joyce and Melvin Pitts discuss raising livestock (cattle and hogs); milk production and sales; horses and harnesses; prohibition and bootlegging; and an onion poultice thought to prevent influenza. The collection also includes a family history booklet compiled by Joyce Pitts and the July 25, 1974 issue of the Cherokee Daily Times highlighting the centennial of the Pitts farm.
